We praise You, Father, for rest. Thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. In Him, we find rest for our weary souls, our aging bodies and tired minds. Father, we have been ravaged by the enemy for so long, being enticed by the lust of the flesh, which is the pride of life. Thank You for the gentle ways in which You remove the prideful attributes within us that resemble the father of lies, and carefully replace them with more of You, the Light of Life. Your rest is gentle, healing and forgiving. Thank You for Your mercy, for delivering us from Satan’s traps and transferring us to the kingdom of Your Beloved Son (Colossians 1:13). In You we find relief, peace and health—in our minds, our flesh and our inner man. We can’t thank You enough for the riches of Your grace, Father. Your mercies are deeper and wider than the oceans. The closer we grow to You, the more we discover the depth of Your love. How amazing is Your grace, Lord! Thank You for revealing Your mercy to us in so many ways, on so many levels. Hallelujah!! We praise You, Father! We love You, Lord Jesus. Blessed be Your beautiful Name forever and ever. Amen.
