Exodus33-19 I will show mercy on whom I will show mercy

We praise You, Lord, for being gracious to us. Even though we don’t always recognize it, we trust that You are doing a great work through us. Thank You for giving us the cross, so that we can remember Your love—when we’re weary, when we’re sick, when we’re going through the fiery trials of life. You poured out Your love toward us—even death upon a cross. How can we not give You our lives in return? We offer up our bodies, minds and souls to You, Lord, for Your Great Plan and perfect will—trusting that You always have us in the palm of Your hand (Isaiah 49:16), believing that You never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Father, into Your hands we commit our spirit—the well-being of our bodies and minds—for safekeeping, so that we can be delivered from the rudiments of the world and be one with You in the House of God. We pray as Jesus taught us, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.  Exodus 33:19 ESV
