O Lord, there is no other place where we would rather be than in Your arms. You are our hiding place and our shield. Your Word is life and breath to us, a lifeline in this treacherous world. Our hope is in You alone, Lord, not in what could be, or what should be or anything else, but in You alone. Your love and mercy pour over us and fill in all the places where there were ashes, destruction and pain before. We welcome Your grace and the harmonious melodies of Heaven along with the brightness of Your hope. May it spread across our land and find a permanent resting place in our souls, so that we may enjoy righteous passion with You, our Savior. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
