O Lord, we let go of our own understanding, our own perception and opinions, for the truth. Your ways are so much higher than ours. The real truth can only be found in You. We let go of sound decisions for Your decision. We let go of what makes sense, for what takes faith. We let go of our old ways, for the newness found in You and Your ways.

Thank You for encouraging our hearts and knitting us together in love, so that we may reach the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of Your mystery, which is Jesus Christ.  You and You alone are worthy. Nothing we could do (or have ever done) could ever be enough to earn Your love and acceptance, or to lose it. We had Your perfect love the day we were formed in our mother’s womb. Saturate our understanding with Your perfect love, Lord. In Christ’s Name we pray. Amen.
