Daily Prayer

Isaiah48-17

Jesus said that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. Help us, Lord to focus on You and not on our circumstance, to be grateful for whatever we do have, so that we don’t fall into the slippery slope of self-pity. You are our God, and You teach lead us in the way we should go. You teach us to profit. You promised to provide for our needs--shelter, food and water. May we look beyond our lack to see the abundance we already have in You, Lord Jesus. Because of You, we are fully redeemed. May the things in our lives no longer stand in the way of Holy Matrimony with You, our King. Thank You for leading us back to You, where we belong. Blessed be the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way you should go.  Isaiah 48:17 NASB
