And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

Father God, our lives are so completely different when we remember and believe Your love for us. Help us to walk continually in the Light of the truth of Your love, for You are love. Protect us from the lies of the enemy and from the pride of our own flesh. Help us to stay in agreement with mercy so we can live in the victory of Jesus Christ and in the power of His blood. Give us wisdom to discern the truth from the lies. If we get in agreement with condemnation, we align ourselves with the devil. When we get in agreement with mercy, we align ourselves with Christ and therefore abide in Christ. You grant us the great opportunity to choose to abide in love and when we do, we enjoy Your great protection. You are merciful to those who show mercy. Thank You for understanding and thank You for mercy. Grant us the fullness of Your blessings for abiding in You. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
