Bible Commentary

Deuteronomy 28:13 is a Bible verse from the Old Testament where God promises specific blessings for observance and obedience of His commands.

For many of us, reading this promise of God feels like a breath of fresh air. It sounds so good, particularly if you can relate to being in a position of “beneath”.

I’m reminded of a movie, A Knight’s Tale, which is set in a historic time period where the people were divided by economic classes—peasants, lords and knights. Let’s take a closer look to see how we can claim this promise for our very own.
