John 1:12-13 (ESV)

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,  who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Our Choice

(An original spiritual poem by David Norman)

In God’s possession  Our blessing resource In our souls,

The choice to believe To love The Almighty,  He will never force Yet, greater the faith,

The greater we receive In God’s hand,  The power to pour out In our control,  Our voice to pray

To insure Generous continuity, Leave no doubt  Submit willingly,  Abundant life  Remains in play

In God’s desire,  A love never ending  In our hearts,  A dock to attach  To multiply this Unconditional sending

Allow trust to open  Our prideful latch

Inspired by John 1:12-13 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Author notes: Limitless are the ways that God will help us, Yet His power is limited when we choose not to trust in Him.
