… said in John 15:7.

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

His words.

Have you ever seen a quote from a famous philosopher or heard a song lyric that really hit home for you and you wanted more? It can be the same with Jesus Christ. When we study His words and His work or listen to His music if-you-will, we are abiding in Him. He promises those who abide in Him and His words that He will do whatever we ask of Him. Sound too good to be true? Try it and see!

Rooted in Christ, we grow in unexpected and unprecedented ways, ways we would never even imagine. Things we thought were impossible become possible with Him.

Places we wanted to go were unthinkable before, but in Christ we are boundless. What we thought was important before becomes less so, and the things of Christ take their place. We are transformed from glory to glory. (2 Corinthians 3:18)

Our sight changes, as we take on the eyes of Christ. Our heart changes, as we take on the heart of Christ. Our aptitude broadens, as we take on the capacity of Christ. Our goals become Kingdom goals. Our desires become righteous, and our heart and mind become pure. (Titus 1:15)

Rooted in Jesus Christ

We see as He sees. We hear what He hears. We pursue fruit—the fruit of the Kingdom. We follow the plan laid out by our Heavenly Father Who orders our steps. The deeper we dive into the words of Christ, the more we please the Father and the greater is our own pleasure. As Christians, we are one with Him.

–When He is pleased, we are pleased.

–When He is satisfied with our work, we are satisfied with our work.

–When He is excited about our future, we are excited about our future.

Because we abide in Him, He bears fruit in us and then it is revealed through us. He honors us because we chose to honor Him.

John 15:8 says, “By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”

It is so simple. When we follow Him, abiding in Him and His words, we honor Him. Then, He honors us. He is the vine and we are the branches. He is the Lord; we are the disciples.

Follow Him and He will bloom through you and the whole world will know it. Study the Bible verse of John 15:5, honor Him and keep His Word and bear much fruit in the kingdom for the Father.
