…this living water believe in Him. “Believe” in the Greek means: have faith, to entrust (especially one’s spiritual wellbeing to Christ).

If we close our minds to the supernatural power of Jesus Christ, we cannot drink Him in. Any man can come to Him, but in order to receive Him, we must trust Him.  When we do that, He promises that from our belly will flow rivers of living water.

Let’s look at some of the Greek meanings of “belly”: a cavity, the abdomen, the heart, womb.

We find our purpose in Jesus Christ, in His Holy Spirit. As we receive Him in, He transforms us and pours out of us, in many different ways as you can see from the meanings of “belly” above.

He created us with so much potential, but without receiving Christ, we won’t recognize it. He can fix any failure, bring life out of every mistake and tame our tendencies to wander from Him.

We find lasting satisfaction and fulfillment in Jesus Christ alone. As we drink Him in, believing and trusting Him, those living waters cannot help but flow outward from every part of our lives.

Study the Bible verse of John 7:38 to know the living water and healing rain of Jesus Christ.
