…promises over and over in the Bible, and yet because of our ignorance we don’t lay claim to them.

He shows us the way. Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life…”

Is it easy to change our thinking—mindset and emotional health? No, it’s not easy, but with God all things are possible (Mark 9:23).

We can live in faith, taking God at His Word, and prosper…or not. Traveling the narrow way with Jesus Christ is not easy. However, many follow the path of destruction, as Jesus says in Matthew 7:13-14, which is much harder.

Though a life of faith requires sacrifice and sanctification, it is His joy and benefits that pull us through, bless us and prosper our souls. The benefits far outweigh the sacrifices.

Notice in Psalm 103:3 that forgiveness comes before healing.

What in your life needs to be confessed and forgiven? Jesus is the truth.

What’s In Your Heart?

What is hidden in our hearts that could be released by forgiving someone? What we measure out is measured back to us (Matthew 7:2). This is very important: Grudges, resentment and jealousy stain our health—both spiritually, psychologically and physically.

It’s not God Who puts us in difficult and painful places—it’s US!

It is imperative we seek Him for help identifying those things in our hearts and minds that need renewal and regeneration.

We must be willing to participate in the healing process by following Christ—the way, the truth and the life.

He shows us the way one step at a time. Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.”

Let’s seek Him with our whole heart, mind and soul (Deuteronomy 6:5), and enjoy all His benefits, including His forgiveness and healing.

Study the Bible verses of Psalm 103:2-3, being thankful and merciful, and in turn, enjoying all the benefits of the Lord.
